Cygnus
Cygnus is Latin for "swan". Cygnus is a male humpback named for his curved dorsal fin that may remind you of the shape of a swan. . Cygnus seems to enjoy getting a close look at boats. Cygnus has been sighted nearly every year since 1981.

A Real Whale Watch Trip - August 3, 2003 We left the pier and about an hour later found several humpback whales. One was Cygnus who was feeding so close to the boat that he fills the screen! Back to the Stellwagen Bank Whales
