Whales For Kids Assemblies - Classrooms Introduce your students to whales with names, unique personalities and an interest in humans!
"As an adult, I found your information fascinating, but even better, I enjoyed the reactions of the children in attendance. You held the attention of everyone in the room for an hour. That is not an easy feat considering that a few of them were preschool or early elementary age. They hung on your every word about Salt and other whales and their extended families. They were very interested in the realia (exhibit material) you brought for them to see and handle, also the whale sounds, pictures and video made everyone feel like they were on a whale watching trip! I feel that the audience was treated to a program of exceptional quality and would recommend it to other libraries and schools." Mary Alice Spiegel, Children's Librarian, Cleve J. Fredricksen Library "Thank you so much for being willing to give up a Saturday afternoon to share your enthusiasm for and knowledge of whales and dolphins with our Camp Dragonfly children and staff. From the comments made after you and your wife left, your presentation definitely gave the children a new appreciation for these gentle giants. Denise K.
