Salt & Friends: Humpback Whales With Names (DVD)

(Also available on VHS - call 717-763-9507)

(Meet fifteen amazing humpback whale families)

They have names, unique personalities and are fascinated with people!

This DVD tells the story about the world’s most loved and most sighted whale. In 1975 two humpback whales were sighted for the first time. One had an all-white dorsal fin. Capt. Avellar decided to name this whale Salt as it appeared that someone poured salt on its back. The other whale was named Pepper.

This was the beginning of studying whales as individuals with names and distinct personalities. Salt has been seen each year since 1975 and is a grandmother. Salt has eleven calves and eight grandcalves. Learn more about this whale family and fourteen others with equally interesting stories.

Salt & Friends is the best nature video in the world!  You must see this Telly Award winner to believe it.  Fifty humpback whales are introduced.  I produced Salt & Friends to be appropriate for kids, adults and seniors.

(Salt & Friends is 60 minutes in length with 58 minutes of whale footage.)

Price: DVD - $18.99
